1 Heart at a Time LLC provides CPR, AED and First Aid classes in Connecticut. We teach our training courses at your office, school or daycare. We also provide training at house parties.

Heartsaver CPR Course
The Heartsaver CPR course is for people who would like to know what to do for a person who is in cardiac arrest or is choking. All students will receive a certification card at conclusion of this course.

Family & Friends CPR Course
The Family & Friends CPR course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants.

Daycare CPR & First Aid Course
The Daycare CPR and First Aid course meets the standards for State of CT daycare license. The course covers AHA CPR and FA requirements also all supplemental information needed by the State of CT.

BLS for Healthcare Providers
This Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR, two rescuer scenarios, use of bag valve mask, foreign body airway obstructions, AED, and barrier devices. A course completion card is issued for successfully completing a written and skills exam.

Heartsaver Infant CPR for New Parents Course
We provide Infant CPR training at house parties for new parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, family and friends who will be babysitting your new baby.

Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED Course
The Heartsaver First Aid, CPR and AED course teaches CPR, AED use and relief of choking for adults and children. Students will also learn how to manage illnesses and injuries before professional help arrives. In addition to CPR and AED use, course content includes general principles of first aid, medical emergencies, injury emergencies and environmental emergencies. A course completion card is issued for successful classroom participation.

Heartsaver for K-12 Schools Course
The Heartsaver for K-12 Schools course completion card was created to provide a cost-effective Heartsaver course for K-12 school systems. It signifies that an individual in the K-12 school system has successfully completed the objectives and skills evaluations in accordance with the curricula of the AHA Heartsaver programs. This card may be issued for all Heartsaver courses taught in schools for Kindergarten through 12th grade. This includes elementary, middle, junior and high schools. This card may be issued to school students faculty and staff. "Faculty" refers to teachers and coaches; "staff" refers to an employee of a K-12 school or K-12 school system.
